Intelligent design: personality and practicality at the offices interior design

The project conducted for the developer ALIVN High ValueProperties in Barcelona joins a series of projects that start, above all, by confidence and have a common goal: to differentiate. In addition to providing a unique personality to the workspace, for Envatech is important to maintain professional line of a solid brand.
The 400 m² plant of this project were renewed by Envatech partitions and Neo by Mimbreri Program. The result is a space of great adaptability to customer needs in terms of special finishes (high gloss lacquered, walls and doors coplanar). The interior design provides a particular view of its new offices, especially at high and medium direction areas, emphasizing the management room.
No doubt the game that Envatech partintions allow make easier an interior approach which the most important is the intelligent design: design that can adapt to changes.
ENVATECH: portability as the added-value.
The company that moves its offices has to face several challenges. Among them, there is the new workspace equipment.
ENVATECH collections (CLASSIC, NEO by Mimbreri ELITE by Francesc Rife) are designed to facilitate its portability process by offering the possibility to reuse all the screens and partitions of the current office to adapt them to the new location.
More specifically, ELITE line, designed by Francesc Rife, improves traditional models of compartmentalization, optimizing acoustics and their installation. By launching new aesthetics forms, it also allows a better customization for the new office, using LED technology, random models of enclosure panels as well as curved glass.

Elite Screens collection by Francesc Rife
ELITE is ENVATECH’s best design collection, it has great elegance in its modulations and allows architects to design spaces which adapt to the new demans of interior and office design. For us [the contribution of Francesc Rife in designing ELITE] has been a pleasant surprise as it has made the office screens, fit a modern office. It has given us a partitions program with everything needed to accommodate an office with a very high yield.
Today ,of all brands of office partitions that exist on the market, is the only Envatech who offers solutions that the competition has yet to addressed.
There are many international brands, but from our experience we work at ease with Envatech.

For us, the NEO collection is a jump forward in design, without leaving behind the technical specifications that a partitions collection should have. Tips to Customize your Workspace
Workplace design can increase productivity and improve to the employees comfort. At ENVATECH we created our collections of office partitions, screens and movable partitions, thinking on how to benefit each company and their employees. When designing a workspace we must consider two factors. The first factor is the: space factor. The space factor is: what’s going to be done here and what do you need to do it. The second factor is: the human factor. How do employees interact with each other, the space and machinery. Our workspace must adapt to different environments. Our collections are versatile and facilitate the exchange of components and materials; for example: glass panels for wood panels.
A workspace desgined around humans must favor sustainability and incorporate natural elements such as natural light: The Neo by Mimbreri collection and it’s large areas with glass are a great way to allow natural light to enter throughout the office. The glass pnaels also facilitate visual communication among employees and contributes to a proper workflow at the workplace. Illumination is even more important in case of small or dark spaces. First it helps simulate larger and more open workspaces and it contributes better focus to employees. ELITE comes with LED lights integrations to create different environments, depending on customers needs, creating an “open space” and letting rooms breathe.
The trend that architects, engineers and interior desginers have created is to create open and flexible spaces that encourage communication between employees and optimizes the square footage available at the workplace; thus resulting in higher productivity, happy employees and better brand image.

Professionals share their Opinion on ELITE’s Customization Options
When we launched ELITE last May we conducted a small survey among the attendants.
The reason behind this was to have a direct feedback from our prescribers, architects, interior designers and the press. The survey was completely anonymous.
The first question we asked was: Is ELITE a game-changer in creating spaces? You can see the results here.
The second question we asked was: ¿How would you rate ELITE’s customization options?
We surveyed 44 attendants in total and they said:
4,54% thought it was good.
61,36% thought it was very good.
34% thought it was excellent.
No one gave it a bad rating.
Project: Hotel La Mola & Conference Center
ENVATECH and the architectural firm B720 collaborated on the The Hotel La Mola project using the NEO by Mimbreri collection. The Hotel La Mola is situated in a magnificent location next to one of the oldest golf clubs and recognized PGA Tour location, with around 14,000 hectares and 30 minutes drive from Barcelona.
This time, the collection that was needed was NEO by Mimbreri because of the large glass-area with full or partial transparency that unified the aesthetics and the philosophy of the environment and the construction project. Being one of the most exclusive hotels we used clean and straight lines, finishes and details to maintain the hotel’s image as a great convention and leisure space.

ENVATECH & ELITE at FadExpo 2012
ELITE, our new line of office screens desgined in colaboration with Francesc Rifé, is one of the finalists for the Delta Awards, for best industrial design.
Since it’s one of the finalists, an ELITE screen is being shown (alongside other finalists) at the FadExpo. The FadExpo is being held on the FAD grounds at Plaça des Àngels (Angels Square) right in the center of Barcelona.

ELITE is ENVATECH’s new collection of office screens and partitions desgined in collaboration with Francesc Rife, which comes to break the office’s rules.
ELITE gives prominence to the project designer by offering different modules, enabling and creating dynamic configurations with a wide variety in the type of windows and panels. In addition, ELITE allows connection to a vertical wall with the benchmark office furniture.
This new collection breaks the routine of completely opaque or glazed walls. It also has LED technology allows curved glass walls.
Breaking the rules of the office
ENVATECH and designer Francesc Rifé are breaking the rules of the office.
This collaboration provides new shapes for those architects, interior desginers and engineers that are working in an innovative project or who need to diferentiate in a market where image is everything.

SURFACES WITH CHARACTER

Improving Acoustics
In the office, acoustics are as important as it’s design. Noise must be controlled because it has a tendency to affect the workplace by offering easy distractions and even causing stress. It is equally important to keep certain areas isolated to provide privacy when dealing with sensitive information.
